Day 1- Kelowna Pick Up: Meet your local guide and the rest of your group in Kelowna and then head along the scenic highway towards the legendary ski town of Nelson, where you will be spending the next several days. Enjoy the view as get to know your new ski/ snowboard buddies from around the world. Once you are checked into your hotel we go as a group for dinner at a hand picked local restaurant and go over the details for the next few days.

Day 2- Whitewater Ski Day: Enjoy a perfectly made coffee, and the best breakfast buns in town at Oso Negro before heading up to the hill. Today we are riding as a group in bounds at Whitewater ski resort, know for its legendary snowfall and world class tree skiing. This is our chance to get oriented as a group and prepare for the touring days to come. This is your chance to get some last minute tips on tree skiing or riding better in powder from your guide. Unwind with a drink during some après ski and then head out for another amazing meal with your new friends. Don't forget your daily hot tub soaking!

Day 3- Intro to Backcountry Touring: Welcome to winter wonderland! Today we head out with our local backcountry ski guide(s) who will take us to a heavenly stash of powder that will be our playground for the day. We spend some time going over avalanche and group safety procedures and then head out for our first guided ski tour. With a few guides we are able to make sure that people of different speeds are able to have a good time and go at a comfortable pace. The goal today is to ease into the backcountry, not to wear anyone out on the first day. (That will come later... just kidding... but seriously). During one of the tour nights we go for a bonfire at a local spot along the shore and have some good times, sipping local beer and watching the stars come out (or ideally snow come down).

Day 4- Whitewater Sidecountry After another amazing breakfast at the best cafe in town we head up to Whitewater Ski Resort for some lift assisted touring. The drive up to Whitewater shows why this place is such a mecca... the resort is tiny, but the touring could keep you busy for a lifetime around here. We will aim for a couple big laps, and maybe small smaller laps along the way, depending on the group speed and ability. Relax in the hot tub after a long day skiing in paradise.

Day 5- Kootenay Pass Touring: Another day of guided ski touring in British Columbia! Home of some of the best powder on earth. Today we head up to the highest highway mountain pass in Canada and ski tour from there with our guides. Let the world disappear around you as you fall into the rhythm of your feet and the cool mountain air filling your lungs. This is some of the best touring in Canada, and you are soon to find out why! Tonight we visit Ainsworth Hot Springs for a steamy soak in the hot spring cave and a really nice dinner.

Day 6- Whitewater Touring: You guessed it! Another day of touring, but the good news is your legs are now made of metal and everything around you seems easy. We head up for another day of fun, ski touring with our local guides to make sure we get the best powder stashes around. Try your luck on some pillows, try dropping a cliff, skiing through the trees, or just enjoy the feel of that silky smooth Kootenay powder beneath your feet. After our ski day and a drink or three we hop in the van and head over to Rossland, a super quirky but amazing ski town just down the road.

Day 7- Red Mountain Reward Day: OK, you officially earned it. The long awaited in bounds rest day. Today you can forget about hauling yourself and your lunnch up the mountain and let some machinery do the work for you. Red Mountain is paradise for any skier or snowboarder and you are about to find out why. With your Fresh Adventures guide you will explore the three different mountain peaks, 4 ski zones, 2800 acres, and enough secret stashes to boggle your mind. If that's not enough we can have a tasty lunch that you didn't pack in Paradise Lodge, and then some drinks in Rafter (legendary ski bar) at the end of the day. Once that is all done we check into the hotel and go for a nice meal and some drinks at the Flying Steamshovel, a true locals watering hole.

Day 8- Return to Kelowna: Well, you made it! This morning you just have to apck your bag, have a scrumptious breakfast and hop in the van. We head along the same scenic drive back to Kelowna, stopping for an enormous cinnamon bun from Deadwood Junction. Right around now your guide will be starting to get emotional and trying to convince you to stay on for the next tour, or to come back for another tour the following winter. You are part of the legendary Fresh Adventures Family now!
